CAD Technician/Interior Designer

CAD Technician/Interior Designer EXPERIENCED in High End Residential Projects

The successful candidate must

• Have at least 2 years’ LONDON employment experience in an INTERIOR DESIGN / ARCHITECTURAL PRACTICE post degree.

• Have demonstrable experience of working as a CAD Technician/Interior Designer with experience of high-end residential projects. • Hold a relevant degree in Design/Architecture or similar. • Possess FIRST RATE AutoCAD skills and be experienced with Adobe, Sketch Up and Corell. • Be familiar with Revit, Relux and other building analysis software • Have excellent written and communication skills. • Be confident to work alone, within tight time constraints and under pressure.

This is a full time position, based at our offices in Knightsbridge. Our projects are focused in the Belgravia/Knightsbridge area.

The successful candidate will be part of a broader design team and will take instruction from our art director.

Mid – Senior Level Designer

Reporting to the Creative Director, you have enormous flair and talent for design. You will be supporting and working with multi-disciplined design professionals at all stages of various projects from concept to completion.

This is an exciting full-time opportunity to join an expanding team working on ultra-high-end residential development in prime central London, based at our offices in Knightsbridge.

Experience and skills required:

  • Hold a relevant degree in Design/Architecture or similar.

  • Four years+ experience in residential and/or hospitality design

  • The ability to engage in design development using confident hand drawing skills is highly desirable.

  • Be able to deliver neat, clear and accurate technical design information with ease.

  • Have demonstrable experience of working and successfully managing a range of design projects.

  • You will be a strong team player with good communication skills and the ability to coordinate, control and make decisions.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and organisation skills.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop and SketchUp is essential as is familiarity with Revit, Relux and similar building analysis software.

  • Current UK building regulation knowledge as well as a comprehensive understanding of construction technology.

Responsibilities to include the following:

  • Running projects from concept to completion at all levels of design production.
  • Understanding the team’s project programmes and keeping up to date at all times
  • Be confident to work alone, within tight time constraints and under pressure.
